I'm more of a fan of blue glass balls and half-buried tractor tires.

The pink flamingo is also a good choice for lawn decoration.

I am also a big fan of the lawn cutout:

This has been discussed over and over again on FU.

The second amendment is quite clear. The right to own and bear gnomes is clear and indisputable.

Now, now, that's not how we challenge people and threaten bodily harm here on FFXU. You're supposed request a meeting under a plasma.

Meeting under the plasma is a more of a formal agreement to fight, sort of like gentlemen's duels of old. I'm talking about something completely different.

But certain people meet under the plasma and end up buying drinks for the opponent. Then said opponent goes online, claims victory, and uses personal info for blackmail. ;-(

I love my gnome. My daughter and I saw him on sale last year at Sears and I couldn't resist. It's too tacky. I love it!

Next, pink flamingos.

I don't have a garden gnome, but I have a little 12" Virginia Tech gnome that guards my front door.

I also use flashing, colored Christmas lights and those inflatable yard decorations!

That's an inside joke.

HOA's don't even get it.

I have a blue glass ball in my front yard, and a pink flamingo.

They keep telling me I need to remove them.

I keep telling them that I am planning to restore a 56 Chevy in my front yard.

alias, alias, alias, take your lithium pills. the government says they are not microchips.

so this gnome business, majority of the people put them up because they are so tacky its funny? i know there are some people that believe the gnomes are real and have a society and laws of there own. to say the least they are bat shit. so i still dont get the appeal.

I also have two rabbits names Gladys and Mable. They party with my gnome and his turtle. Sometimes I have to scold them for getting too rowdy in the garden.

Because it's kitschy, like lawn flamingos. I don't think people search for them unless they're collectors or something. More like, they see them somewhere and think, "Dude, lawn gnome! This is hysterical, my friends will totally laugh."

Here is all you need to know...

http://www.zwerglignomes.com/history1b.html

Oh - and this too...

"There is a wonderful trilogy of stories by Terry Pratchett called Truckers, Diggers and Wings which tell the story of where garden gnomes really came from, how they lived on planet earth and their escape back to their origins. So the next time you look at your garden gnomes - take care because they may be watching you."

Seriously???

Report Neighbourhood Tyranny of garden gnomes

Have you seen garden gnomes in captivity? Report it here. This information will be made available to the Garden Gnomes Liberation Front, the Local, Federal, and International authorities, the appropriate amnesty organizations and will be transmitted into space via a powerful, world-class radio astronomy dish.
