Based on this trailer, I think James Cameron has finally crossed over into George Lucas territory - so successful that nobody close to you can tell you that what you are producing is shit....

Avatar is a shitty japanese anime show. My son went through a phase where he watched it on Cartoon Network. Stupid, stupid, stupid. When I heard they were making a movie, I could just tell it would be shit, since the show is a piece of shit.

My kids watched Avatar, too. I don't think this movie is based on that show. I think the movie is based on the premise of a computer Avatar somehow being a compelling concept for a movie. Kind of like "Twitter, the Movie" or "Facebook, the Movie."

And I thought remaking shitty TV shows from the 70s was bad.

I have no fucking idea what this movie is about, but I thought the trailer looked pretty cool. I love alien women especially blue and green alien women.

The movie is about crippled people who are able to use their minds to control Avatars and how the Avatars rebel against their human masters and how the Avatars win in the end and maintain their peaceful, Avatar world.

There. Haven't seen the fucking movie but I guarantee that's the fucking plot. Kind of like The Abyss meets Aliens.

It's a Lionsgate film. District 9 will have a great plot, and a very, very shitty delivery.

Another thing I would like to point out about movies like this. Why is it that humans have supposedly mastered inter-stellar flight and the ability to transfer the mind from one being to another, but we haven't improved on the fucking wheelchair. Stem cells, anyone? Cybernetics? Apparently no advances on the medical front. Must be due to "the public option."

ive been waiting for this trailer for a while, looks pretty good, it is like 10-12 years in the making. They used something rediculous like 270 cameras to film each scene for 3D
