The Leisers and David Trinnes have violated several rules in the Virginia State Bar Professional Guidelines.
The Morenos can certainly bring these numerous violations to the attention of the Bar Association, or they could focus on Rule 1.14, Client With Impairment. The Morenos could claim they were of diminished mental capacity and that the Leiser Law Firm took advantage of this fact to enrich their firm instead of acting in the best interest of their clients. The other siblings Joanna and Andrew are potentially better-positioned to claim the diminished capacity of their elderly senile parents Richard and Sharon, and mentally ill brother William.

Virginia State Bar
When the lawyer reasonably believes that the client has diminished capacity, is at risk of substantial physical, financial or other harm unless action is taken and cannot adequately act in the client's own interest, the lawyer may take reasonably necessary protective action, including consulting with individuals or entities that have the ability to take action to protect the client and, in appropriate cases, seeking the appointment of a guardian ad litem, conservator or guardian.
