This whacky prediction seems more and more possible as white america raises it's ugly head....gets angry at public meetings..buys more and more guns.

It happened to Soviet Union and that took only a few months. It could happen. It's more likely than us paying off our debt...what a way to deal with that issue! DIssolve, and who owes who?

i think predictions like these (for the "near" future) to be ridiculous.

there would have to be a significant shift of power to occur before such an even could happen. everyone likes being on the winning side even if it's having some problems at the moment.

additionally, the cold war lasted for decades. we are on year... 1.

The fact that you are counting it as "year one" testifies to the power of hate.

Your original post is a testament to the power of hate. If these were hispanic groups forming and buying guns, you'd say how great it is that minorities aren't afraid of whitey anymore.

No, actually it just testifies to the fact that you are on some whacky witch hunt and have been pondering every conspiracy theory you can find that paints the US as hating itself. I think you hate this country Vince - that seems to be the real issue. You hate folks that aren't like you - whether they are not as smart, look different, think different... it seems you have quite a list of things about people you really hate.

Your posts here seems to indicate that pretty strongly. You are always first off the block to shout racist... I dunno, if it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck... What, its just a balloon filled with hot air that needs to vent? Maybe....

Vince - you make yourself uncomfortable. You don't bother me in the least other than the fact that you are obviously a loon who needs to talk to Spunk's shrink. You come here and project your hate - take a look Vince - what is it exactly that you think you have "proven" to the rest of us here?

I come here, and post my arguments, and for the most part bore some folks, and give others some interesting reading. But you don't see my flying off in a lather and saying how much I HATE people. You on the other hand - all you do is walk, talk, and spit hate with about every post you make. You do make me laugh a lot - some of the stuff you post is right out there with the alien abduction folks.

You are the one doing all the mental masturbation here Vince. Get some help.

Please, remember the kittens Vince - you need to stop.

There's not much depth to your thinking if you post articles and your only defense of them is "you are gay" comments. Is there any thought or rationale you have to offer?

It looks like a turd muffin, with feet and big teeth lol.

Domo, the main character, is described as "a strange creature that hatched from an egg." [5] Domo's favorite food is Japanese-style meat and potato stew, and he has a strong dislike for apples, because of an unexplained mystery in his DNA. Domo can only communicate via producing a low-pitched noise which sounds somewhat like his own name, but other characters appear to understand him. Domo-kun is known to pass gas repeatedly when nervous or upset. [5]

Vince?

Maybe the signature should be Vince - the Domo Kun of FFXU!

Just for completeness, I thought I should include the theory.

http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/2009/05/02/379-russia-to-us-youre-breaking-up-too/

Quote

...
Endtime prophecy is not the province of the religiously excitable alone. Even the die-hard materialists of the Russian intelligence service FSB (formerly the KGB) dabble in apocalyptic musings – although the scope of this particular prediction is not global, but limited to the imminent demise of that old-and-new archenemy, the United States.

Igor Panarin has been predicting the “moral and economic collapse” of the US for about a decade now; he set the Endtime for the American Empire at the year 2010, and the recent arrival of the credit crunch lends some credence to his outlandish forecast - at least as far as the Russian (state) media is concerned. Panarin, formerly a KGB analyst and now an academic, gets about two interview requests a day.

The break-up predicted by Panarin would be the result of mass immigration, economic decline and moral degradation, all of which would trigger a second American civil war, and the collapse of the dollar. This would then lead to the break-up of the United States, by mid-2010, into half a dozen regional sub-entities. These would be dominated or absorbed outright by foreign powers.

* Alaska would revert to Russia, and Hawaii would become Chinese or Japanese.
* The West Coast (the three Pacific states, joined with Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona in a Californian Republic), would fall to China or at least be under Chinese influence.
* A Texas Republic, which would also include New Mexico, Oklahoma and all the other traditionally southern states (except the Carolinas, the Virginias, Kentucky and Tennessee), would similarly be either directly or indirectly under the sway of Mexico.
* The aforementioned southern exceptions would join the northeastern states in forming a bloc that might join the European Union.
* The rest – all midwestern and western states – would be at Canada’s mercy.
...

EDIT: Multiculturalism run-amok evidently.

I hope whoever paid this guy to do the study kept the receipt.

Tennessee and Kentucky will stick with the homosexual-loving New England states instead of joining the rest of the Bible Belt? A solid 4th of the former United States would be taken by Canada? China will seriously be able to bring Communism to California?

This study was done by a Russian that has never once stepped foot in the United States, but wants to make it clear that, if the United States ever dissolves for some reason, Russia totally gets Alaska.

Which reminds me -- I wonder when the dolts in Congress will allow offshore drilling at the south end of Florida? Cuba has signed deals now to start drilling off their Northern coast for oil. Most folks agree that they will probably drill into fields that are in Florida's waters.

Congress can be so short-sighted it makes me ill. I believe they have to lift their moratorium before Florida can even consider to drill.

Like the "texas republic" would ever become part of mexico. That's where most of the brown-fear comes from. All the walmart shoppers would revolt.

I mean, they'd no longer be able to bitch about "illegals" because then any mexican could just freely move into their neighborhoods.

The USSR was also held together mostly at gun point for almost 50 years. So yes, when the USSR went belly up all those sattelite states wasted no time breaking off.

I LOL when I envision the notion of South Carolina and North Carolina joining the EU. LOLOLOLOL. No fucking way.

A more realistic breakup would entail the entire south - pretty much identical to the Civil war secession states (with the possible exception of Virginia).

And the irony of it all is that a new CSA would be pretty damned workable. You have MAJOR industrial production in the South, you have education systems, oil, and wealth.

The more likely scenario is Northern VA would peel off from the rest of the state much like West Va during the Civil War. Anyone who travels outside the NoVa zone quickly realizes how the other half lives. With the exceptions of Charlottesville and Williamsburg, VA is still very southern in most aspects.

I like the comment about Texas being under Mexico's influence. Has anyone seen the mockumentary "CSA?" They have this same scenario, except Texas takes over Mexico and turns Mexicans into slaves.
