Here comes the pitch:


Eraser is an advanced security tool, which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard disk by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.

You don't have to subscribe to anything.

Just google "secure delete" or "secure eraser" and download any of the free software you'll find that will not just erase the index of a file, but will overwrite the sectors multiple times making sure that the file will not ever be recoverable.
