My only question - honestly and I'd like realistic answers - is where do you think the email server investigation goes? She seems to think (or pretends to think, the liar) that the FBI after months and months are going to say 'everything was on the level, sorry to bother you'.

It's very likely that the FBI investigation will close without going to a grand jury. There's a lot of questions about Hillary's judgment, but almost certainly nothing criminal. The investigation is almost over.
