HP CP 1020 Series

It tells me I need to replace my toner (that I have 0 prints left) on my color laser printer. Ive ignored it for 8 months and it works fine. Every time I print it says Im out of toner. I print a few pp a day but they are pictures so thats a lot of toner.

HP just flat out wants you to throw out half your toner when it gets low. Wonder if I make a year printing on toner fumes...

I blame Carly Fiorina and Republicanism.

scam printer ink is a big scam and the indicators saying your ink/toner is low is an even bigger insult - they are never close to being out of ink when they go off

Now the printer says ALL the ink is gone (lit up like a Christmas tree) and its printing fine. A couple pages of full page pictures a day!. HP is so Bogus

next time dont buy an after market toner cartrige

next time make sure they didn't sell you the full toner cartrige the printers come with in the box (which do not read right on the "out indicator" like the legitimate full cartriges do - which you'd know if you actually HAD and HP printer you paid for !!!)

so I cannot buy after market cartridges or the cartridges that 'come with it in the box)??? Why do you assume I didnt purchase my printer?

s.p. new in box has half cartridge

still printing away and I have not replaced the cartridges that the printer says have been dry for about 9 months. How long will it go?

wait does he get personal info on the people posting trivial stuff or the people like you commenting on the trivial stuff??? You might be at risk...

Of course it's all a scam. Chips on cartridges have simple page counters. Also makes it more of a hoop to jump through to "refill" because you have to buy new chips as well as refill toner.
