You might think it now-a-days, but even as recent as the 1940's it was common to refer to different Peoples (ie, Groupings of People), as different species. BTW, I do not pretend to know his true feelings about anything, as I hardly know the person in question, but what he said is true about how America is one of the few Nations where people of all different backgrounds actually marry eachother on a fairly consistent basis. You need some more context within this video to determine however whether he meant that such an aspect was negative, or good.

The issue is the vernacular that he used, which was offensive. If he wanted to compare the homogeneous societies of Europe to the heterogeneous society of the United States, that would be one thing. But the terminology he used would be like Lou Dobbs referring to illegal immigrants as wetbacks. If you have ever listened to a Klansman speak, they use terms like "species," "ethnics" and "pure." The guy was using Aryan speak. If he's not a racist the best case scenario is that he is a complete fucking moron and shouldn't even be on a national program, much less co-hosting one.

Not really. I forced myself to watch a bit of MSNBC during the last election just to see the way things were presented from "the other side" - but that was mainly a reality check. It was more of an aggravation, but I didn't trust one news source to present the whole story without some bias on their side, so I figured watching at either end of the spectrum, plus some MSM thrown in would get me closer to reality.
But no, if a show aggravates me that much it is not worth my time IMHO.

not everyone knows the correct classification of homo sapiens: genus or species. i didnt know for sure until i checked.

For those who continue who call Fox a "conservative" network, please, an observation: Why do liberals such as NPR's Mara Liasson and Juan Williams continue to appear as "regulars"? Why does self-described Democratic voter Chris Wallace get to host his own Sunday show, one of the most important among cable and network news programs? Ditto Greta Van Susteren, and Geraldo: how do liberals get their own gigs? And how about Bob Beckel, Susan Estrich, Terry McAullife, David Corn, Katrina vanden Heuvel, Mort Kondracke and the many, many other liberal Democrats who regularly appear on Fox news and commentary programs? How about Bill Clinton’s buddy Lanny Davis, Eleanor Clift of Newsweek? If Fox is so biased, why do these people, as well as Democratic congressmen and senators, appear as guests? And why have the Clintons and others (McAullife among them) praised all pre-election coverage, while surveys found that Fox was, indeed, the fairest of ‘em all?
It’s the CONTRAST between Fox and the others that makes Fox APPEAR more conservative – the others are so blatant. And thoroughly sickening.

Biased? Because they don't conform to your expectations. Actually, bias is predominant in all human activities, but I can see that there is no point in discussing philosophy with someone of your ilk.

Fox is biased because even though it has a couple of liberal commentators, they are almost always ridiculed and dismissed by the hosts. Chris Wallace and Greta never express a political opinion one way or another. Where is Geraldo's Prime Time show? You don't see it.
The worse part about Fox isn't its commentary programs. It's its so-called "newscasts," which consistently use inflammatory anti-Democratic language.
I'll admit that MSNBC and CNN are liberally biased. Now admit that Fox is conservatively biased. You know it's true.

Will you also admit that AP, Reuters, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, PBS, CNBC, a majority of the print media are also liberal biased? The question is one of balance across the board.
