I miss the good old times when the dow was under 7,000 and when unemployment was at 10%. Bush is soo great!

Globalization empowered companies to move off shore for cheaper labor. In addition, companies started hedging investing in foreign markets to distribute risk. The dollar crashed due to all sorts of reasons (Bush and Obama both contributed greatly) yet the stock market soars because these companies are no longer tied only to the US economy but are hedged into all sorts of economies....the Dow increase is due to foreign markets not the US debacle of an economy so you are quite misinformed. As far as the employment rate, the government has been lying about the actual rates since Clinton was in power. To get a better picture you need to look at workforce participation rates which has crashed under Obama.

The DOW is soaring because of global markets?! HA!

The global economy is in the toilet, the U.S is the only country thriving thanks to Obama. Emerging markets are doing horribly, Asia doing horribly, Russia is doing horribly, commodities are in the trash, South America is in a deep recession. American companies are thriving!
