How Goldman Sachs blew up the economy

Recent Rolling stone article that blames Goldman Sachs for everything from the Great Depression, The Tech stocks bubble, the housing crisis, $4 gallon gas and the raping of taxpayers in the bail out. I found the oil section part 5 or so of 7 the most interesting.

Goldman Sachs and pretty much any incestuous bank/brokerage that has analysts that make recommendations to investors based on positions the company holds in certain markets. It is a fucking sham that reminds me of how the Wall Street power brokers gamed the market back in the 1920s before the crash.

Yeah - I have to agree with WTL. Banks were salivating to get de-regulated back in the 90's and once it happened they were bringing in brokerage and investment advisers as fast as they could. It makes little sense to me why you want to allow banks to combine with anything related to stock markets - after the GD you would think they had learned that lesson. Fine if someone wants to borrow money from a bank and invest it on their own, more power to em, but banks should not be in the position where they are managing or investing in funds that directly affect their bottom line - even if it is indirectly.

The next target for Goldman Sachs is the cap and trade bill. Lovely. Its GOVERNMENT mandated so ITS not like they have to rig the game this time. Awesome, just in time for Christmass Obama and democrats are gonna help Goldman Sachs rape the american people AGAIN. Its reasurring that no matter who is in power, republicans or democrats we get ass fucked.

Government should mandate executions for white collar crimes.

True since their crimes fuck up more people's lives than murder does.
