The suspect is now believed to be in a home with hostages.

Haven't the criminals watched enough movies and TV to know that hostage situations never work out?

Yeah, but that was the movies, and besides, all of those motherfuckers were stupid, and well, this time the hostage taker is smarter than all the others and the cops and he's got a plan, and he's going to outsmart everyone and get a plane to a country that doesn't extradite, and and and and and.

Or, really, I guess it boils down to stupid fucks who commit crimes and what happens when they panic.

It's the same with all the car chase fools. I have yet to see one where they got away. (I'm sure one guy actually has gotten away, but that was only because statistics mandates that one in 750 million has to get away, or whatever.)

they need to dress all of the hostages in ski masks and give them fake guns.... watch a fuckin movie for christs sake!

and have the leader hide behind a fake wall that they build, for like a week.

And only steal the contents of a single safety deposit box, owned by the owner of the bank, who is hiding secrets of his nazi past in that box.

And cast Jodi Foster as a "fixer" in your little movie/hostage situation.

It was Leesburg for Christ's sake. They should have deployed a couple of A10 warthogs and sprayed the AO with 50 cal rounds.
