I'll probably regret contributing to this mess, but there's nothing on that piece of paper that says "This is legal stuff you have to accept."
Certified Mail isn't really good enough. That's why you pay process servers. Years ago, the company I worked for tried sending a C & D to notorious email spammer Robert Soloway. We sent it certified mail, and he simply refused delivery.

I'm quite frightened by it all, really. Can't you tell? But it's nowhere near as bad as when Sharon Moreno made that false small claims lawsuit against me and I laughed my ass off for weeks and cared so much that I didn't even show up to court and she still lost LMAO! The scariest thing was when the cops sent me a letter declaring the laptop mine and for me to come pick it up, hahah!

I was 28, she was about 20, so we had been companions for most of our lives. She had been having health problems since earlier in the year, and then she was diagnosed with mouth cancer; she had a tumor in the left side of her mouth, and it was beginning to get bigger and it was evident she was in pain. So it was decided the best, kindest thing to do for her would be to put her to sleep. Even though her health had been on the decline for months at this point, I still wasn't prepared to hear that. So, just like that, she was gone. She was here yesterday, earlier today even, and now she was gone. Yes, I know, it was "only" a cat, but that's bull****.......to me, she was much more than a cat. I miss her so much.
I really loved her. She was there with me through some very tough times.
Her name was Starban, she was a calico, 19-20 years old. A real fighter. A tough cat.

This is me asking you to sign the no trespass papers that you had previously agreed to sign--in writing--after you were caught stalking me in December, and it's also me laying it out there as to why I perceive you as a very true threat, in some ways even more of a threat than eesh. Also, I have no idea what you showed the cops…you must have pulled up old texts with no date or timestamp of any kind and they must have just assumed those were recent. But that's how the stalking fell through--you lied to the police, they compared notes and your muddying of the waters was enough to get the warrant axed.
