Another reason to avoid metro: Trains running into trains

Looks like two red line trains have run into each other.

The "benefits" of mass transit in the DC area just get harder and harder to sell.

I stopped using the metro; too many homeless people ride it and the one obese man with the breathing problem always sits next to me.

go burninate some villages. the train crashed into another one from the rear. someone had to put them on close schedule maybe it was terrorists?

You think thats bad. How about the other night when I made the mistake of taking the metro home after a relatively late night of oral argument preparation. Got on the orange line (mostly empty) and sat "downwind" from some homeless dude who was clearly asleep and probably rather drunk. About the time I hit Ballston, I noticed "fluid" sloshing around his seat and running off onto the carpet.

Nice...
