Yeah, that should fix things.

Iran hates us because the CIA orchestrated the assassination of Mohammad Mosaddeq in 1953. We also paid Saddam Hussein to wage war against Iran from 1980 to 1988.

I guess we're going to "win hearts and minds" by going this route yet again.

The Iranian people are on the path to overthrowing their theocracy. We should just sit back and enjoy the show, and then be ready to come in as real friends in the aftermath, instead of being viewed as instigators and manipulators.

But that would just be logical, and would probably end a conflict instead of perpetuating conflict.

I guess it really is true that the people in power maintain their power by encouraging conflict.

If George Bush was in office CIA/Iran connections could possibly be true, but with Obama, I would highly doubt he would agree something like this.

Yes, but the buck does not stop at Obama. Presidents come and go. The Intelligence community does not. Besides, Bush already put the plan into action. It's largely out of Obamas hands

I would not put much faith in anything General Beig says. He has a very
shady past and is not to be trusted. He could very well be saying this to
promote his own political future. Note controversies.

This wasn't "done" by the CIA. It was pretty organic. However, don't doubt that we and Israel have our guys in there, stirring the pot.
