Seriously, who the fuck ever thought these were a good idea?
Did someone wake up one day and say, "Hey! I think I'll combine pajamas with a suit!"? Every time I see a guy wearing one of these, I think he must either be gay or that he escaped in a time machine from the 1890s.

Those are very Frazier Crane-esque. It reminds me of something you'd see people wearing in Nantucket or the Hamptons at societial events. I think they went the way of the triple pleated pants, which were popular in the 70s-80s.

Don't forget the shiny polyester suits of the 70s..
OR, what I still see at work: Bow ties. They are fine if you are 60 years old and work in some Congressional office, but if you are in your 20s and 30s they look ridiculous and pretentious.

Agreed. Former DC Mayor Tony Williams used to sport those things and it made his annoyance level amplified. Absent the bow tie, he might have come across as cool.
