This bill is no more than cosmetic "feel good" legislation. The Fed already has
five internal audits and is fully accountable to the House and Senate Banking
Committees. IMHO, the push for this bill would also demonstrate that the
Congress has not been doing its job and the Democrats are in charge. If this
bill is necessary, it should also provide for an audit of the Congressional
oversight committee's as well.

Most of the trolling on here can be narrowed down to probably two super trolls... Ya and EJ. That is if Ya is really Ya! lol
I have my own personal trolls in fairfaDUD, Bob, and failsafe/ej. I find it to be quite a coincidence that when ej/pradadenim dipped out, failsafe appeared out of nowhere the next day. I thought the same of fairfaxDUD and bob, but I don't think that anymore. I think they are two different fag trolls, but who knows, he did register not too far after Bob left!

as of tuesday June 16th the house bill now has 224 co-sponsors and the senate bill has its first co-sponsor, Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina.
The pressure being put on congress is working. In fact the Federal Reserve Board has become so worried about this legislation that they have hired lobbyist to fight it! keep pushing America!
find out if your rep is a co-sponsor, if he is thank him , if he is not ask him to support the "Audit the Fed" bill.
