The date that Marty traveled to in the future... 10-21-2015. I haven't heard anything in the media about this yet. I watched the movie about a year ago and noticed the date was approaching. 30 years since 1985...

The movie was set in 1985. In the 2015 future, the Cubs swept "Miami" to win the World Series.

The Florida (now Miami) Marlins expansion team joined MLB in 1993. Freaky.
