To keep people "safe". Let the people move out and get the hell outta there . There trapping them it looks like.

I've rode thru big brush fires in San Diego Co. in 1969 on My Hodaka 100 dirt bike.. Rice Canyon area. LOL Bet you don't know WTF Im talking bout. But it was when I was a long haired youth with a "Marijuana Soaked Brain" LOL

Nothing cooler then riding out to the huge smokey area then round the canyon trails, smoke everywhere fires on and in the brush and then stopping for a "joint" and "enjoying the view" at the ripe old age of 15. I've been there.
