Oh my... Obama is becoming more and more like Bush every day. This isn't the "Change" we signed on for...

Since I said this would happen before the election, I'd like to take this opportunity to say, "I told you so."

Tax, spend, bomb, detain ad nausea...

What exactly has changed? The only thing I can see is that now our President is openly socialist, where as before Bush at least pretended to be capitalist

You're right MrMephisto. I think the more intelligent and open-minded OBAMA! supporters have already started jumping ship. The sign of ignorance in years to come will be how long Obama supporters continued to cling on to this loser (the longer the more ignorant.) Same thing happened with Bush supporters.

I'm truly excited about the prospect of Obama's complete and utter failure. Hopefully it will be enough to wake up the mindless sheep and encourage them to take REAL action.

The American people have already been bent over once by Bush, now they're "all in" betting the OBAMA! will bring "change". Once they realize that he's no different hopefully people will wake up and stop being taken advantage of. I wish it didn't take OBAMA'S! complete failure to accomplish this, but unfortunately that is the sad state of affairs we find ourselves in now.

preventive detention
n.
The pretrial imprisonment without the right to bail of a person accused of a felony and judged dangerous to society.

Sounds real American.

The fact that Vince and other OBAMA!-bots aren't showing up to defend him in this thread is a good sign. I pray that they are coming to their senses.

Whatever change I voted for happened last November when the GOP got embarrassingly defeated. That's all the change I really wanted- it's really that simple. If the prez needs to have a "preventive detention" policy, so be it. At least it's not some neocon dope like GWB sitting in the White House.

Well, I guess you can politicize everything if you choose, ranting awkwardly about your black/white viewpoints, when in reality, as we all know, most difficult issues have many shades of grey. Or, of course, you could just post here BEFORE he makes the speech today--sure, that makes sense.

Being "truly excited about the prospects of Obama's complete and utter failure" is complete and utter douchebaggery. Unamerican at its core, stupid to say the least. But hey, I hope you feel better now.

I can't WAIT to hear your ideas about "REAL action"...lol...should be a super-doozy of a plan!

At least nobody had to root for your failure, Justin. You managed just fine all by your lonesome.

Gawwwd.

I mean, I'll admit it, I thought GWB was the dumbest fuck ever in the White House, but I don't recall EVER wishing for his "complete and utter failure".
Voting his party out of office worked well, I thought.

I have a better idea. Since our interrogators have been reduced to
begging detainees for information, our soldiers should simply stop
taking prisoners and hosing the bastards on the battlefield and
no longer take prisoners.

I hate to say it but I'm starting to like Obama more and more as he slowly becomes more "Bush-like" every day. He's quietly changing his mind. MAYBE THAT'S WHAT HE MEANT BY CHANGE.

I also like the fact that he's setting himself up for a real fun campaign in 2012. He is no longer an unknown commodity. And his economic policies are working real well...All economic forecasts show a continued downward trend despite the huge debt that he's placed on all of us.

So what about California voters? Awesome.

okay...I wont duck the issue..I am dissapointed! Obama has taken on a few things which will come to haunt him...number one is Afghanistan...there is only one thing we should do...get our soldiers out. Two..these so called security issues...this country is so filled with fear that lifting all the Bush era disasters is obviously undoable...Obama has at least 4 years in office...I will decide then on his administration....look at my alternatives...and support financially and vote accordingly at that time.

I wasn't aware Kim Jong-il was representing your party against Obama. Did you cry on April 15, the 11th anniversary of Pol Pot's death?

OBAMA! is too chickenshit to risk his career / legacy if a potential attack occurs on his watch. He knows what the right thing to do is, but his own ambition and self interest comes first-- which in my mind is even worse than what Cheney/Bush did. At least they were doing this kind of crap as part of their ethos (however flawed it may be), while Obama does it purely for himself (which I guess is his ethos-- self preservation)...

So the only reason Obama would attempt to halt terrorist attacks is because of his own "self interest"?

Um, yeah, I'm sure you've nailed that analysis.

You were funnier on the "teleprompter crisis", actually.

You should never argue religion or politics....but with that being said:

ALL politicians are only in it for their own self interests and preserving their perk-laden powerful jobs. And as far as I'm concerned all of these guys are morphing into one ideaology. Obama, McCain, Gore, Bush - only different faces of the same monster.

Having two "choices" at election time really isn't a choice if as soon as they get in they are just going do the same shit or just go back on all of their promises. Obama hasn't followed through on any of his "transparency and accountability" promises, but again, I knew he'd backpeddle on all of that shit, as would have McCain. It doesn't matter.

So quit spewing about Obama this and NeoCons that...it's all the same political bullshit.
