why do some people post cars for sale on Craigslist but the description is barely intelligible?

Here is the entire description on Craigslist:
"Hruns and drives great has 111000 miles sunroof minor damage and really its a 185hp rite out of fatory.drive it and you will understand.1100 or obo "
It's almost like they are trying to sound retarded.

If you deal with anyone on CL (for sale ads or dating/personals), you are risking your money, your credit, and possibly your life. CL is filled with scammers, criminals, and foreign people looking to steal your identity.
I highly recommend you steer clear of CL.

Yeah, a lot of Gypsy families in the area buy junk cars, do minor repairs to get them barely running, and then offload them. For any "for sale ads", its a good idea to run a search using the phone number in the ad in the other sections on craiglist. Often times you can find "we buy junk car" ads demonstrating the cars they are selling are in fact, junk. Many times, the car title is compromised as well.
