Michael Josef Basl, 34 years old, from Richmond, VA, openly stalked, harassed, and taunted TJ Sadler about his mental illnesses. Law enforcement needs to be questioning this man. Basl is being sued for nearly a million dollars for stalking, harassing, and cyberbullying; also, for impersonating an individual and his entire family, with the intent to draw an armed response by law enforcement to the impersonated individual’s home, vandalism, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, trespass to land and chattels, and breaking and entering, among other claims based on reasonable information and belief.

He is also set to stand trial on June 24th for harassment by computer and illegal dissemination of nude photographs of another Prince William County individual; this, after having the plaintiff in the lawsuit falsely arrested and maliciously prosecuted over forged death threats supposedly sent by said plaintiff. This was in retaliation for being served with the civil lawsuit.

Basl now faces the same charge of harassment by computer he falsely brought against the man who initiated the civil lawsuit. The substantiating information used to draw reasonable belief of the aforementioned can be found by following the link above and others on the Fairfax Underground website, and is also soon to be a matter of public record.

Basl is also under suspicion, upon information and belief, of (allegedly) conspiring with another individual in order to silence a witness from testifying against him in said lawsuit, as well as in the upcoming June 24th computer harassment and dissemination case in Henrico, and at least one other upcoming case in which said witness is set to testify.

The witness Basl has allegedly (though based in reasonable circumstantial and hard evidence) been conspiring to also have falsely arrested and jailed has testified under oath. Her testimony indicted Basl of admitting to intentionally inciting the armed police response upon the plaintiff in the civil case, in hopes of having him shot dead by the police.

The same witness also testified under oath that Basl had admitted to sending himself the death threats that resulted in the plaintiff in the civil suit being arrested and prosecuted; the witness who has since been falsely arrested and jailed herself (upon review of accumulating evidence and reasonable belief) in retaliation for this testimony was found credible by the Henrico General District Court–thereby impeaching Basl’s testimony regarding the supposed death threats from the civil suit plaintiff and resulting in a not guilty verdict. This was all in retaliation for a civil action brought against Basl for the above causes of action relating to the lawsuit.

Now, Basl is on trial for the same charge of harassment by computer, with talk of perjury charges to follow in connection to the false death threat case he brought against the civil suit plaintiff. He is further being sued for malicious prosecution in the same Henrico General District Court he is now set to stand trial in for computer harassment. The lawsuit is a matter of public record, as is the lawsuit for malicious prosecution which is soon to be filed. In light of these disturbing facts and developments, and of his relentless online and offline harassment of Sadler, Mr. Basl ought to be looked into as a person of interest in his disappearance.

Although it appears to be a runaway, the fact remains Mr. Basl had bullied, harassed, and physically stalked Sadler for months; his suspect behavior in matters relating to three other individuals also connected to Sadler by way of the Fairfax Underground website should be taken into serious consideration in light of the aforementioned.

Sadler was an equal target of Basl, both online and off, as much as the civil suit plaintiff he had falsely arrested and prosecuted, as much as the witness who testified to the aforementioned and to the admission by Basl he intended for the plaintiff to be killed via manipulation of police (by inciting an armed response based on violent and threatening online posts in which he impersonated the individual); and as much as the Prince William woman who has brought the same charges of computer harassment against him.

Michael Josef Basl is a person of interest in the disappearance of this boy. Officers in the appropriate jurisdiction should be looking into this 34 year old man’s bullying and stalking of Sadler (a minor), regardless; and especially now that he has gone missing.

Basl took photographs while stalking Sadler and subsequently removed them after being sued by the plaintiff in the civil suit (which is going forward in Fairfax County). The photographs were found and restored to the Fairfax Underground website where they were first posted by Basl himself and are found in the link above.

These incidents are all connected and the situation has been escalating.

To any authorized local authority, question this individual in the event he has any information on Sadler’s whereabouts or had any contact via the internet or otherwise before his disappearance. Any information regarding Sadler’s last communication should be looked at; and, as Basl (34 years old) had often bullied Sadler (a 14 year old boy) online, both in public postings and in private messages, it is reasonable to find serious concern in this matter.

Though Sadler appears at this point to be a runaway, the months-long harassment and physical stalking of him by Mr. Basl seems to be concerning enough in itself to warrant a simple questioning by the authorities, if nothing else.

Michael Basl has bullied, taunted, stalked, and exploited TJ Sadler’s mental issues quite knowingly, and quite obviously out of pure malice, and *based on the testimony of another of his victims*, he has already attempted murder by proxy, with the police as his weapon. This is a serious matter.

Ridiculous. I read through this, somewhat, and the allegations are simply a waste of time and taxpayer's money. This all will ultimately fizzle out -- or at least it should. Any lawyer who gets involved should seriously reconsider. Of course there are those lawyers who like to keep this kind of thing going for the money they make. The charges are so varied -- shotgun effect. Defense -- wasn't me, prove I did it, prove damages. Seems the plaintiff's in these cases are not proceeding with clean hands. You become fair game when you poke and post.
