West Baltimore residents worry they’ve been abandoned by the officers they once accused of harassing them. In recent weeks, some neighborhoods have become like the Wild West without a lawman around, residents said.
“Before it was over-policing. Now there’s no police,”
Well here's a clue Baltimore residents...don't fucking persecute your own policemen and maybe they will start protecting you again.
Or keep it up and see your city degrade farther into the abyss.

Look, I realize the cops are often out of control, but these folks bring them into their lives with all their bad behavior.
And no wonder the cops get an attitude. They get called in and everybody winds up turning on them!
So now, when one ghetto rat murders another, why investigate? Nobody blocks traffic or loots clothing stores over little kids getting caught in gang crossfire. As long as the cops didn't do it its all right I guess?
Twitchy cops and the slumdwellers who insist on having them in their lives. Next on Ophra.
