It is going to cool off a bit next week. We normally have a couple of really warm spells during spring and summer and sometimes a fluke hot day or 2 at the end of Sept. or eary Oct.
Usually, but not all summers, we get a heat wave of all 90s and low 100s for a sustained period of time .. 1 to 2 weeks.
The real problem is the humidity, which causes poor air quality conditions .,. not merely the heat itself.
