It's uncanny. I met Meade at a record store awhile back. I thought he was in his early 20's. I surprised to death when he told me, that he was 30 something. I asked him what his secret was. He just said "No Alcohol or cigarettes and liftin' a lot of liftin'

Some people are wrinklers, and some are saggers,and some are both. I'm guessing Meade is a sagger

I've read some of Meade's post on his new site, actually he comes across as a pretty decent guy, sensitive and warm hearted, just trying to get along in a world where good people have the deck stacked against them. We all share our pictures of Meade because that is our way of letting him know how much we love him.
Who else can make a compelling argument of not being a racist by using the word 'colored' and talking about how his family had a black nanny once?

Meade doesn't mean 'colored' ina a negative context. As a cultered southern gentleman raised with colored maids and nannies Meade is well-versed in racial relations.

I think Meade is just stuck on an idealized concept of 'the good old days'.
Women were in the kitchen.
The coloreds knew their place.
The gays were in the closet.
The only one these he has any control over is his personal decision to stay in the closet himself.
If I cared about him, I think it be a shame.
