This 'pilot not being able to get back in the cockpit' thing

Is clearly a problem that needs to be fixed. It's an unintended consequence of security measures put into place after 9/11. How do we fix it, but keep terrorists/nuts out of the cockpit?

Maybe a system that can disarm the door, but only if multiple people simultaneously disarm the door from different parts of the aircraft?

The pilot should have taken a dump before they took off. Hell, they were only 30 minutes into the flight. He couldn't hold it?

At least two airlines, Air Canada and EasyJet have implemented policies today requiring at least two people in the cockpit at all times. Presumably this would be a flight attendant who would wait for one of the pilots to come back.

This should be standard policy for all airlines and probably will be by the end of the day.

saw some communist friendly reporter, meade, on CNN

was happy as could be chatting with a europan who said it was the pilot's fault it was not european planes (ps, please order more A320 not Boeing)

it's a clear trend makes me want to puke. they assult USA if a boeing crashes even after they admit a failure

but if a euro plane fails they use media to deny it was a (design/maint) problem

and it's clear NY,NY will answer the call to their "true friends" and tell us here in the USA what their governments want us to hear: US planes suck, Abus never had a problem. makes ms. meaded bubbly happy. when they win and she helps them.
