I got a boil with 3 heads on it. Was wondering is I could shave white heads off and it will drain all that mayonnaise white pus; or should it be stuck/lanced with a scalpel to get rid of all that white good stuff.

Looks like a large marble, red, has three zits growing out of it. I'm thinking of popping the zits and applying a gauze with some antibiotic. I heard that if you pop them and let maggots (medicinal maggots) at them they eat all that pus and are beneficial. No flies around now though/

Never had a boil myself,but I heard a hot washcloth helps? Antibiotics both internal & external are probably a good idea if you got 'em. What causes boils, anyway?

lots of stress...I used to get them during a very bad time in my life...it's the redness that surrounds that puss hole that hurts the most...had a bad one on my kneecap once that I dug into...that was very bad...made it much worse with infection...DON'T DIG INTO IT! Moist heat is the trick....pulsating water from a shower head directly on the boil...as hot as you can stand it...also, wet a wash cloth with very warm water, ring it out slightly and apply to boil until towel is cold....repeat....penicillin helps too

Popped the white zits, copious amounts of puss, looks like a deflated balloon now. Actually heard a "piffst" noise when the zits popped. Does the skin explode or is the puss extruded from a single pore? The puss looks like stream.

Give your boil a name. I think you should call it Gerry.
