LOL when she says, “This is Anti-Government/Anti-CNN.... This is not really family viewing..”

If you want a CNN reporter talking about taxes, Brianna Keilar is much hotter:

Yum.

CNN's sinking ratings has pushed them into a corner. They are an democratic editorial network and no longer a news network.

This shows an obvious agenda, a reporter trying to create a story rather than report one.

Does this count against the fairness doctrine?

Why would it...both sides of the issue were reported. Makes me wonder if you would recognize fairness if you tripped on it.

When the hell did we get to a point in this country when reporters debate/promote protesters instead of reporting the news? The CNN reporter is way out of line. However, you will see exactly the same kind of pro-demonstration engagement from Fox.

Tobin Smith of Faux News spoke to the teabaggers in DC. According to the WP,

"On behalf of Fox News Channel," he told more than 500 mud-spattered demonstrators, "I want to say: Welcome to the Comedy Channel of America, Washington, D.C."

After a few preliminaries, he went into a Fox News commercial for anchor Glenn Beck. "Anybody watching Glenn?" he asked to cheers. "That was a shameless plug, wasn't it? Glenn says hello as well. He's out at another tea party." Indeed he was, as were Sean Hannity and Neil Cavuto.

A small group of counterdemonstrators, wearing ballgowns, tuxedoes and pig snouts, interrupted and were stripped of their signs. Smith seized the display as an opportunity to highlight the Fox News slogan. "You know what 'Fair and Balanced' means?" he asked. " 'Fair and Balanced' means we take our message and try to overcompensate for their lack of message." Smith left with instructions: "Keep watching Fox, will you?"

Also "hundreds showed up in DC." HUNDREDS! A PETA March draws more than "Hundreds" for God's sake. This stunt was a bust.

CNN and MSNBC are desperate for viewers and are grasping for the lefist extremists as an audience. Their combined ratings aren't near that of Fox.

Journalism is trumped by making a profit.

So what you are saying is that Bill O'Reilly garners 3.9 million viewers while the "liberal media" like the Daily Show, Olbermann, King, Maddow, CBS, NBC and ABC garner the other 200 million+ viewers?

WTL, you are correct, sir. The aggregate of the "other" liberal media is FAR GREATER than the B-rated cable, AM-radio right-wing crap.

Tighty Righty's statistical analysis FAILS.

The sad thing about the media is that they are all making profit, while dumbing-down the America public.
Its no longer about the news, its all about pushing your party agenda and/or bashing the other side.
Each have their sides: FOX-right, MSNBC-left and CNN-kisses up to the reigning party.
And what get lost in this chatter!!! THE NEWS.
So be mindful of catchy slogans, news tickers and tearful anchors ('I just love my country...').
One should source different

I'm glad to hear that you libs and socialists finally publicly admit that all media other than Fox is extremely biased liberal. You forgot to add PBS and NPR - the most liberal and taxpayer funded.

That helps with the fairness doctrine argument. Will the fairness doctrine argument also cover the liberal news and newspapers? Why are liberal news outlets hurting so much for money? Will they be bailed out by a liberal congress?

Would congress make liberal news adhere to a fairness doctrine. I think not.

I seem to recall that Republican FCC Chair Kevin Martin advocated censoring political speech at one point. Hmmm.
