How come the area of the fingernails are so prone to infection? If I cut or bite off a fingernail and if it draws blood, within a day or so it puffs up and if I soak it in hot water and squeeze copious amounts of gray puss shoots/squirts out of it. The puss is very sticky and thick, charcoal colored.
You're playing with fire. I got a staph infection in a finger once and had to have outpatient surgery to slice it open and clean it out. Some of the worst pain I've ever had.

Pussy! Just slice it open at home and dump alcohol over it.
I had an infection on my finger the size of a small marble once, no matter what it would not drain, I finally stuck a thin sharp item into the area piercing the membrane. When all the puss drained the area was like a flaccid ballon.
the idea of severed fingers doesnt bother me. but for some reason anything fingernail related makes me cringe and get goosebumps every time. b blis signing out of this bitch.
