Bad news for fans of FR-S/BRZ

Biggest complaint of the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ? Not enough power. Many fans of the car have been begging for a turbocharged version. Looks like Toyota is sending a big "fuck you" to those fans. A case of boring bean-counters making all the decisions and being completely oblivious to what real car enthusiasts want. Something tells me this wasn't Subaru's doing...

If Subaru made a BRZ STI, nobody would buy the FR-S. Toyota would never allow that. What a shitty partnership.

Subaru is owned by Fuji Heavy Industries with Toyota as a minority partner.

Is that supposed to imply that they share the same vision for the 86 project? I guarantee you Subaru would be open to a high-performance version of their BRZ, if not for Toyota dragging their feet.
