As much as I feel for those folks along the Red river, they can't beat the change that's coming, here with the river overflow. They have just put off the inevitable.
If we were to experience major crisis in this environment it could be devastating.
My off the cuff predictions:
Prepare for the worse, in CA look for major earthquakes soon and elsewhere an increase in tornadoes, especially in areas not accustomed to seeing them normally.

my feelings on all of this is that, we could die from a billion different things at any time. So why waste your life worrying about it? as the great Ron Bennington says - "just roll with it".
