This is not outing.

One argument is that the eesh account has been linked to and tacitly confirmed to be used by Michael Josef Basl, any publicly-available information about him can be posted here.

Another is that by his ubiquitous presence on Fairfax Underground, eesh has become a public figure.

Of course, these arguments are directed towards the very vague, ill-defined, and often contradictory standard of what constitutes "outing".

Formally codifying such a standard would be a significant investment of time that Cary simply doesn't want to make, and would lead to endless Internet lawyering, with posters arguing why a specific post does or does not constitute outing.*

Additionally, enforcing the standard would quickly consume every spare minute of Cary's time, because acting like an asshole in the arena of Fairfax Underground is a 24-hour sport.

So, in the absence of a formal code or serious enforcement of that code, outing is basically whatever Cary says it is and chooses to act on. He's chosen not to act on this post, so it's not outing.
