Is it weird to give chicks your number instead of asking them for theirs?

I’ve started doing this when I meet women who interest me. I just tell them I’m forward thinking/progressive or some pc bullshit sounding term and give them my number on a business card and tell them I’d love for them to call me sometime. I’ve gotten maybe three chicks to reach out to me out of maybe 20.
