Why is it every idiot who reads "1984" or "The Handmaid's Tale" or watches "The Postman" or "Jericho," thinks this kind of shit is on the way.

This whole "New World Order" shit has been going around for 20-30 years and is no closer to realization than it was back then. Until I actually meet someone involved in it, or some high ranking political person admits or confesses about it, I'll continue to believe it's nonsense.

A sitting President of the United States is organizing a political organization loyal to him, bound by a pledge, outside the government and existing party apparatus. The historical precedents are ominous. (video)

Obama's movement, Organizing for America (OFA), was announced in late January but officially unfurled last weekend. Obama describes OFA as a "grass-roots movement" -- it is no such thing. It is really a highly organized, top-down project, created, funded and managed by the Obama Campaign. It identifies itself with the "O"-shaped logo of the Obama campaign.

New OFA enrollees will expand Obama's existing 13 million person database that is being used to mobilize support for Obama's agenda.

The OFA website reveals that supporters are not simply asked to sign up, they are asked to take a pledge. A pledge to support -- not the constitution, not the country, not the flag, not even the Democratic party -- but Obama and his "bold plan."

You will not find any mention of OFA`s governing structure, their budget, their bylaws, or their officers at the OFA website. Donations to the website go to the DNC, but OFA is managed out of the White House. If you click on the comments button, you are taken to a link to the White House email.

Those who take the pledge are asked to "talk with people about the President's plan" and to "ask them to sign their names to the pledge" in support of Obama's policies.

So we have a Movement -- their term, not mine -- organized by, and loyal to, a sitting President. Pledge canvassers, armed with your name, will ask you to pledge loyalty to the President too. A president whose term has already become a permanent campaign, is signing up ground forces in a mass organization pledged to personal loyalty to their Leader.

Does you know of any historical precedents for US citizens pledging fealty to a politician? And, these are the same people who won't pledge allegiance to the flag.

ACORN And The Census


The U.S. Census is supposed to be free of politics, but one group with a history of voter fraud, ACORN, is participating in next year's count, raising concerns about the politicization of the decennial survey.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) signed on as a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States -- currently believed to be more than 306 million people.

A U.S. Census "sell sheet," an advertisement used to recruit national partners, says partnerships with groups like ACORN "play an important role in making the 2010 Census successful," including by "help[ing] recruit census workers."

The bureau is currently employing help from more than 250 national partners, including TARGET and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), to assist in the hiring effort.

But ACORN's partnership with the 2010 Census is worrisome to lawmakers who say past allegations of fraud should raise concerns about the organization.

And, remember, Rahm Emanuel is now in charge of the Census.

The Buck Never Stops


Obama has mastered the art of employing rhetoric that makes it sound as if he's doing something uniquely virtuous and heroic when in reality he's doing stuff that political leaders often do. We've seen this with the way he touts bipartisanship while being unwilling to offer real compromises or the way he proclaims he isn't hiring lobbyists when he actually is. But he took this practice to more absurd proportions today when his big Harry Truman "buck stops here" moment was woven together with other statements blaming everybody but his administration for the handling of the AIG bonuses and the broader financial mess.

"Ultimately, I'm responsible, I'm the President of the United States," Obama declared.

But, instead of taking responsibility, he continued, "We've got a big mess that we're having to clean up. Nobody here drafted those contracts. Nobody here was responsible for supervising AIG and allowing themselves to put the economy at risk by some of the outrageous behavior they are engaged in. We are responsible though, the buck stops with me."

If Obama wants to say that he inherited a mess, that's one thing. But to simultaneously cast blame elsewhere, ask to be graded on a curve, and act as if you're being a bold leader is quite another.

Nonetheless, he got his intended result, with headlines such as UPI's: "Obama: 'Buck stops with me'"

if you dont believe alot of what is said in this video than think about a few things. First off, i voted for obama, so im not some angry white republican that is venting here. He promised to be out of Iraq within 16 months, now he has said we will "review" our situation in 21 months. He promised no washington insiders and no lobbyists would be among his appointed staff, yet he has pretty much ONLY chosen those types of people. Rahm Emanuel is apparently one of the biggest asshole insiders in washington, and he is now Obamas right hand man.
Next look up something called FEMA camps. These are detention centers being set up for riots the government fears are coming. They will be places to store large amounts of the civilian populace who have a problem with how things are going (either economically or politically). On top of this, Obama is setting up a "civilian army", much like the hitler youth of Nazi Germany. Where it will be manditory to serve a minimum of 3 months service to your nation. On top of this, our National Guard has been Federalized, no longer making it a state run malitia, but instead a federal police force ready for upheaval. And then theres Obamas anti gun policy, yet again stripping away the little protection from our government we had left.
Rahm Emanuel also wants to put in place a new policy that if you are on the no fly list than you no longer have your second amendment rights. He was quoted as saying "if we THINK you MIGHT be a POSSIBLE terrorist, then you no longer have the right to own a gun." Did you notice how full of shit that sentence was? You can be on the no fly list for arguing with a flight attention, having a misdimeanor, a marijuana possesion charge, or simply by mistake. And it is nearly impossible to get off of it (there are several government officials including ted kennedy, who have been trying for the past 5 years to get off of it.)
I voted Obama, because i thought the bullshit days of inflating government power like Bush did were over. The only thing he has done is the opposite. People need to wake up and realize, we cant sacrifice freedom for safety anymore.
As the Great Ron Bennington once said "god forbid the human experience includes a little fuckin' danger".
