Man cited in accidental shooting at Jacksonville gun shop......Some more Guntards did not know the gun was loaded.

Jeremy Snyder, 35, of Jacksonville, received a citation for discharging a firearm within city limits, according the Jacksonville Police Department.

The accidental shooting happened at Guerrilla Armament at 300 Carmen Ave., police said. Officers responded at about 3:35 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators said Snyder and 28-year-old Douglas Clapp, of Jacksonville, were both handling a weapon when the gun was discharged.

Clapp was hit and was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital, said police. He was later transferred to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Police said Sunday Clapp was in serious condition. But he has since been upgraded to good condition, investigators said Monday morning.

It's unclear which part of Clapp's body was shot.

Strange story. Why would a gun shop have loaded gun? They don't. I think this story was fabricated by the OP, won't be the first time.

Where in the story does it say that the weapon belonged to the store.

Loser gunlover-tard goes to buy ammo, loads gun in store, accidently shoots another patron. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Never run out of spin.

Guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people - quite often by accident.

Take a gun to a gun shop or guns show, they make you unload any weapons. In fact the first thing you see on the door is a sign stating that.

Stop fabricating shit.

Dude,
You need to get real. There are some stupid people who own guns and hang out at gun stores. Doesn't mean everyone is, but there are more then a few. You need to go to Clark Brothers and see them in action..Or to Gore.

Denial makes you as bad as them.

Also,
Did click on the link? That is the story. There at least 6 news stories on the subject. It was not made up.

Homeowner scares off burglars, The Press-Enterprise, Riverside County, Calif. 09/08/14

Posted on September 11, 2014

A man was at home in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. when a group of burglars knocked at the door. When the homeowner didn’t respond, the thieves attempted to break-in through a window. The homeowner responded by firing at one of the criminals, missing, but prompting the burglars to flee. (The Press-Enterprise, Riverside County, Calif. 09/08/14)

Owning a dog...hell, playing a recording of a barking dog...would have been a far less problematic deterrent.
