there would still be just as many angry muslims over there but it would be contained. the arab spring probably wouldn't have happened. ironic that the arab spring let the arabs free... to hate the west. wonderful.

In reality we would be a dirt poor country and even the latino immagrants would be going back.

The US dollar is the bench standard for world trade, and Saddam was persuing to trade oil on other standards. If he had done this it would have crippled the already weak dollar and in turn crippled our economy.

We would not be spending time on FFU pondering the "What if's" that is for sure.

How many dollars will that take. This is the problem with Republicans right there. And what are you going to do when your 17 trillion in debt to insure Iraq sells in dollars and have a debt situation completely dependent on the dollar being the standard and China and Russia drop the use of the dollar like a bad habit.

Thats not a hypothetical, thats the reality.

Without the blunderous decision to invade Iraq there's a goo chance Obama wouldnt have been elected. There'd be a lot less dead American soldiers, no obamacare, an Afghan war without the distraction of Iraq, the potential for a dynasty of conservative leaders in America, an Iran kept in check by its neighbor.

Bush really fucked this country up for us.
