They should have connected Trump more to Meadows. The fact that Trump knew the crowd was armed and wanted the Secret Service to leave the weapons in the crowds isn't a smoking gun.

It's certainly not good that Trump wanted those going to the US Capitol to be armed, but not treason.

So turns out Trump went balls to the walls and ordered the limo driver to take him to the riot so he could calm things down. The guy refused so Trump reached up through the window and slapped the shit out of him. Please tell me they are making a movie about this.

Trump didn't want to clam things down. Trump wanted to incite more. The Secret Service told him no and drove him back to the West Wing where Trump hid watching the TV and complained the mob wasn't moving fast enough. Meadows hid on his couch and when Cassidy said Go tell Trump to call it off Meadows said "He won't listen."

It's not a matter of being afraid but more a matter of strategy.Trump for example doesn't have the patience to play the long game but your more seasoned politicians do.Me saying it's going to be Desantis in 24 is an unbiased analysis.I disagree with Desantis on his covid policies for instance but if they want a shot in 24 then it's going to be Desantis.Desantis has a lot of characteristics that will make him tough to beat in 24.When it comes to politics I have one golden rule and it's a rule the trumpers broke thus they can't let go.
