In typical anti-guntard fashion, your "proof" is deceptive and omits significant pertinent information.
Sales are only "down" compared to 2013 which was an exceptional year because of threats of bans following Sandy Hook, etc. They still are the higher than any other year in the last decade and continue the longer-term upward trend with increasing year-over-year sales in every year.
And can you guess what would happen if/when there are more threats of bans? (Hint: look at 2013, 2009, prior to the "Assualt Weapons" ban, prior to the Brady bill...)
