Let the arrests begin

This is hilarious:

Dozens of people were taken into police custody after a minimum wage protest outside an east side McDonald’s got out of hand Thursday morning.
Those arrested were among the crowd of about 200 protesters marching around the fast food restaurant on Mack Avenue. The demonstration was part of an effort by workers at fast-food chains around the country to boost the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Several of the protesters went from civil picketing to sitting in the street, preventing traffic from passing through.

“At one point they were walking on both sides of Mack Avenue but they are now concentrating themselves in the eastbound lanes, they have those completely blocked off here, walking and holding up their signs,” WWJ’s Bill Szumanski said from above the scene in Chopper 950.

Police waited for about 30 minutes, warning the protesters they could either move on their own or face arrest.

“The protesters who were sitting on Mack Avenue and refusing to move had a bit of a negotiating session between the police department and the organizers — that didn’t go anywhere,” Szumanski said. “So, police have now swooped in and what they have done is arrested at least 20, maybe 30 people. They’re leading them away in handcuffs to the back of the squad cars.”

------------------------------------

So...in a nutshell: Barely employable idiots decide to block traffic instead of picketing like normal humans.

Way to go dumbasses. You have to worry about illegals taking your jobs for less money as well as automation replacing you at fast food restaurants. Now, you are even less employable because they have an arrest record.

They don't. They just want their salaries "supersized" for no appreciable gains in productivity.

And I'd bet anything that most of those 200 don't even work for McD's at all, just Big Labor stooges.

The "protest" was organized by Fast Food Forward, a puppet of the SEIU which is a faux union funded by George $oro$. They pay their protesters to do so and I'll
bet FFF will also pay their fines and court costs.

Maybe, but the arrest records won't go away. When they fill out applications for employment, they will have to answer "yes" to questions asking about arrest and criminal background.

I think it's funny how Liberals/Progressives actually WANT more of this. The end result will be more competition and a loss of their jobs.

You'll see. I give it 10 years at most.

It's an anti-corporate lefto scam, perpetrated by whiners/losers and students/social justice phonies.. None of these people have ANY concept of the real marketplace. Just dead weight whackoffs who's default position is always the Big Man is screwing me.

If these workers lived in bumfuck and McD's was the only employer for miles, they may have a point about being exploited and whored.

This is the fucking McDonalds on 42nd St in Time Square, there are probably 100 places you could get a better job in the mile or so area between Central Park and lower Manhattan.

1. Quits high school
2. Has a kid at 19
3. Has another a little later on
4. No father / husband ever mentioned
5. Doesn't earn a raise in 10 years
6. Stays with same employer

Tell me again why she deserves a near doubling of her salary? How has she put herself in a position to earn that?

Sad thing is that it works. There are too many fuckups in this country who don't have 2 nickles to rub together and are willing to vote themselves some free shit.

"SEIU's agenda is my agenda.'

Just like the phony Wal-mart protests, not more than maybe 5 of the 200 actually work at a fast food joint. The rest are all SEIU "community organizers."

If you haven't graduated to something beyond fast food by age of 23-24 years of age, you never will.
