What's NOT funny is folks like you have no idea what global warming is and how it works. You just echo right wing extremist who can't let go of their stock in fossil fuels.

Global warming does not mean that the coldest areas of the Earth are suddenly becoming Tahiti. But all it takes is a few degrees to cause glaciers to melt. If the glaciers keep melting, and many are melting at a rate never before experienced in Earth history, all that ice and snow ends up in the ocean. If the oceans increase 2" in depth as a result, it can be catastrophic. It already has been disastrous for many small islands, sea fronts and even Florida has seen the effects already.

Also, because the CO2 is blocking the suns rays from re-entering the atmosphere, it's trapped here, causing the oceans to also warm. If the oceans also rise in temp by 2 degrees, it will cause gigantic super storms and more insane hurricanes.

Keep in mind, this is just the effect on the oceans. The effects of climate change on land will be even worse, causing extreme droughts, fires and mass migrations. All this is fact, not theory and every single climate scientist agrees.

“Climate science” is the short bus of the science community. People who fail at physics, math, law, and medicine go into “climate science” to avoid flipping burgers or digging ditches. The sea level in my beach house canal has not budged an inch since 1976 and that is backed up by Pelosi and Obama buying multi million dollar oceanfront properties.
