I’m old, bald and fat. No one needs/wants to look at me. My whole job can be done on my computer. I’m out of town working remotely. Honestly I would be fine never going back to DC and I’ve lived there my whole life. Compared to the mid west, DC is shit.

At least when you work from home, during lull times, you can accomplish other chores, like cutting the grass or doing laundry, stuff like that. Makes for better weekends. At work you always gotta pretend your busy. At home you can be honest. I'm a GS worker, not that important. When it snows bad I consider myself "non-essential" when we get an important visitor VIP well then I'm essential. That kind of arrangement

All of this. I don't want to go back either. Working from home the past year and a half has been a blessing. I feel like productivity has gone up as a whole, no one got fired last year, whereas it seemed to be a monthly thing. Saving on gas, etc. Ugh.

I can't go back. I WON'T go back. No way. Nog hauler every day? Nope.
I don't do any work when I'm in office. I don't do any work when I'm "working" from home. This way, I save on parking and gas to and from the Metro.

I'm semi new to this area. I had a job offer in DC and was going to take it but had no idea I'd have to pay to park everyday. Also the metro would take over an hour. I'm still undecided. It's great pay but DC is on the news everyday for something heinous!

I'm still fucking my boss. She's 44 & still got it. I don't want to be boss, though. I just fuck my boss so I can fuck off & get paid for it. That she's still got it is just an extra added bonus. It's not going to last. I'm 24 & I don't want a 50 YO wife or GF when I'm 30,
