LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- A group plans to hold a discussion this weekend on Washington and Lee University's decision to remove Confederate battle flags from a chapel on the Virginia campus where top Confederate general Robert E. Lee is buried.
The Roanoke Times (http://bit.ly/1ueCv7S) reports the Lexington brigade of the Sons of Confederate Veterans plans to hold a downtown vigil and open forum on Saturday.

Yea,
The Traitor Taliban flag of it's day is supposed to be a symbol we respect? WTF? It represented the biggest mass murder organization ever in the United states. We should have killed all of his followers then instead of letting them fester into the biggest piles of human garbage the country has ever seen. Lee was a piece of crap and that flag is a symbol of that. Criminals, inbred rednecks, whatever. Have you ever seen it attached to anyone with a brain? I'm a Progressive a Virginian and history buff.
I try to not make general statements reguarding History.
I was not in the Civil War but I know the South was not a bunch of Cowards or liars, they certainly were no more evil than the average person.

What would Lee have wanted for his grave? Are there any writings indicating he wished to be surrounded by the trappings of the Army he commanded from 1862-65 and the nation he served from 1861-65? Was that what the family wanted and the school agreed to at the time he was buried? Or are these trappings displayed at Lee's grave because that was what surviving former Confederates wanted? Anyone know the answer?
