How come when the Ukranian separatists shoot down a civilian jetliner killing almost 300 people it's an "act of terror". but when our military shoots down a civilian jetliner killing almost 300 people its a "regrettable incident", and we give out medals to the perpetrators.

It's called 'hypocrisy', the conserva-tards' stock-in-trade.

If you hate it so much maybe you should just move to Southwest Asia and become a "freedom fighter."

Blessed are the murderous.

I don't hate "it" at all. Why would you think that?

Not that it makes much difference to the passengers, one side admitted the error while the other is trying to deny their role, and who supplied them the missiles.

The real honest answer:

When Ukrainian separatists shoot down a civilian jetliner, it's intentional.

End of thread.

Absolutely no evidence that it was intentional. The evidence is that the separatists most likely thought they were shooting down a Ukrainian military jet. Just like our military thought.

"The U.S. government issued notes of regret for the loss of human lives and in 1996 paid reparations to settle a suit brought in the International Court of Justice regarding the incident, but the United States never released an apology or acknowledgment of wrongdoing.[7] George H. W. Bush, the vice president of the United States at the time commented on the incident during a presidential campaign function (2 Aug 1988): "I will never apologize for the United States — I don't care what the facts are... I'm not an apologize-for-America kind of guy."Bush used the phrase frequently[27] during the 1988 campaign and promised to "never apologize for the United States" months prior to the July 1988 shootdown and as early as January 1988."

I suppose paying reparations 8 years later, after being sued, counts as taking responsibility.
