I am religious and I'm not pro Kyle. I already said this in not so many words.

Sometimes God will use people to pay you back for your sins. But Kyle is also getting his payback. Yes God was looking out for him that day but not in a way you may think.

Kyle wanted to be a cop. That's out the window. Kyle probably would have been a trigger happy cop as well. So Kyle taking himself out has saved a lot of lives in the end.

Kyle is a troubled kid. His father wasn't around, his mom had to go bankrupt, he dropped out of school, he was bullied and he hit girls. He is an angry child and he is now getting to sit out and think about his life and will most likely make a change for the better.

He isn't a hero though and it wasn't self defense. Kyle set out to kill that day.

Watch the video. 100% self defense. Maybe the other stuff you said is true and he shouldn't have been there, but the people he shot were attacking him. And they were there to destroy that city and terrorize the people who live there.

If a man commits questionable acts, has to face a jury of his peers and is found not guilty I can accept it. Its when the man doesn't have to answer for his actions that I have problems with the system.
