Yea..Makes me sad as well. He was a great actor and from what little I know a really nice man in real life.

I though Angel was Jimmy's buddy from the joint. Huggy Bear was Starsky & Hutch's snitch.

I was too young to remember Maverick, but I enjoyed him in Rockford, Support Your Local Sheriff, Victor/Victoria and just about everything else he did from the late 1960s on, except Tank.

He once slapped Tony Franciosa on a set with a couple of "Bitch Slaps" because he thought Franciosa was playing it a little too rough, not pulling his punches, on a stunt double. Franciosa ran like a wimp.

He was a superb actor, only one actor comes close to his legendary genius; and that is Vince Van Patten.

Me too! I also had a Wild Wild West slide derringer for the sleeve, a Dick Tracy 38 which fired a plastic bullet by way of loaded springs in the revolver. A Swamp Fox pistol, A Monkey Patrol pistol, a James Bond pistol and a Man From Uncle gun with components.

You identified yourself as someone who specializes in identifying Ass Clowns.. And well, it typically would take one to know one... I guess that would go for queers also... You have no shame, good for you!

YeP!
Good times! I had one of those old fashion Army Fatigue cap, a plastic bayonet, a plastic .45 caliber Thomason Sub Machine gun that shot caps, and I found an old hollow cast iron practice pineapple hand grenade. We had cherry bombs and ashcans to add to the realism. Time goes by!

I had a Zorro sword with a piece of chalk on the end. I used it with my Ben Hur Shield and breastplate.

a great case helped bring his charater alive

he didn't stalk the poor or the weak. he'd as soon chase corrupt officials. like many americans at the time: lived in trailer and didn't steal taxes or what to get more, was complacent and somewhat "unlucky" except with women

fish, quincy, chips, drag net, also - but not quite like jimbo !

Lucky! I would have given anything for a Zorro sword like that! I guess the chalk was to leave the "Z", like on Sgt Garcias pants. I loved anything Army, had over a thousand plastic army guys. Ordered them from the back page of a "Sgt Fury and his Howling Commanders" or "Sgt Rock" comic book. They were like 500 for a dollar.

Now that they've lost their best spokesperson, sales of the Polaroid One-Step may suffer. I don't think Mariette Hartley can do it on her own.

I heard him in an interview about his purple heart
" We were fighting the North Koreans and I was running South"

RIP "JIMBO"

Beef Industry will suffer without his spokesmanship.
