For winning or showing up?

He's about 100:1 to beat Trump. I think it's about 10:1 that he even shows up. Tonight his handlers are huddled in a room trying to come up with something after watching him practice in a basement and repeatedly failing to recognize his wife or his own basement consistently.

If Biden's handlers are smart they will have him on a carefully monitored diet, exercise, drugs, and mental training program. Such a regimen can improve cognitive function in elderly people with symptoms such as Biden.

If that is the case, he could actually perform well.

Not really. All of that can improve performance "around the margins", but his demonstrated level of cognitive decline is more significant. Even if they have him at 110%, the quick fuse he has displayed lately - as a result of growing frustrated by not being able process and articulate the thoughts he wants to have - is going to result in real trouble if he actually shows up Tuesday night.


A significant number of people will wake up Weds morning feeling sorry for Joe Biden.
