Confederate Statues

If you read the installation ceremony speeches, when these statues were erected 100 plus years ago, the term "God" was regularly invoked. Those that put those statues up claimed "God" had blessed those statues, and God had welcomed confederates into heaven for their bravery and valor. Many statues had the word "God" etched into the inscription at their base, as if God lovingly approved, the soldiers were fighting for God, and the statues were a holy gift to the all mighty, so God and the South could celebrate the Confederacy. In inscriptions, bible sermons, epitaphs, and newspapers, God and confederates were weaved to be hand in hand, and the Confederates were claimed to be men of God, and Men of the South, in that order.

Well God is now telling us, (s)he has had enough of this crap, and (s)he is not on the side of Meade.

From NPR

"Hurricane Laura Rips Down 'South's Defenders' Confederate Statue In Lake Charles, La.

The Confederate statue bore the words "The South's Defenders." But when Hurricane Laura walloped Lake Charles, La., on Thursday, the controversial statue was toppled by one of the strongest storms ever to hit Louisiana.

Protesters had asked the parish to remove the prominent memorial this summer, only to be turned away — prompting talk of an economic boycott. Then came the hurricane.

The South's Defenders Memorial Monument features a young flag-bearing soldier, looking out over the lawn of the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse, where it has stood for more than 100 years. But Laura, which came ashore as a Category 4 storm with winds of 150 mph, knocked the soldier off its pedestal and onto the grass."

Prophecy that Just came true

Ezekiel 13:13

"Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘In My wrath I will release a windstorm, and in My anger torrents of rain and hail will fall with destructive fury.

(14) I will tear down the wall you whitewashed and level it to the ground, so that its foundation is exposed. The city will fall, and you will be destroyed within it. Then you will know that I am the LORD.…

Quick, Richmond, south, God has spoken, and God has acted. Remove all remaining confederate statues now, before it is to late! God is mad, I mean really mad you defended these symbols of hate. God did what (s)he told us (s)he would do. Do you want to make God Angrier? God has been pretty clear at this point-remove symbols of hate you worship as false idols, or bear the wrath.

It appears, God is getting impatient at this point.

Knocked a rioter in the head. Also the Bible warns us not to remove ancient landmarks

Statues are idolatry.

Graven Images decorate the road to the lake of fire.
