Texas Gov Say Complete Lockdown Coming - Deaths Surge To 2x Record

Of the state’s 254 counties, 242 have active cases. Hospitalizations and deaths are surging, a trend that was expected, considering those factors are lagging indicators behind infection counts. The state peaked at 10,791 cases on July 15, and while daily infection totals have leveled off, they have done so at record highs that threaten a complete state lockdown.
