Cable news is basking in the high ratings the riots are bringing. Instead of condemning violence and shaming rioters for not social distancing, they are encouraging this. Many newscasters and cameramen aren't even wearing masks

Not a word about the COVID-19 dangers on any network last night. Almost as if the danger just disappeared. No shaming of the protesters or even a mild cautionary rebuke. It's as if it never was a danger.

All the stations I've been watching have in fact been mentioning people not wearing masks or social distancing.
