Bloomberg Businessweek blew open a can of worms on Thursday when it reported that Chinese intelligence agents had implanted tiny, disguised spy microchips, the size of a grain of rice, onto Super Micro motherboards which were used by 30 U.S. companies and government agencies.
THE CHIP ADDED BY CHINA WAS NOT IN THE 'ORIGINAL DESIGN' (though that too has Chinese foolery in it)
Super Micro are also popular with GAMERS.
SOLUTION: get a used apple for work, use your PC store PC/laptop ONLY for gaming and right up entertainment you don't mind if your spied on
If you wish to be "safe", insure your PC is "really all intel" (that means motherboard, cpu chip) and don't install any after market "cards" (with intel chips consumers don't "need" cards these days)
