This is like polar ice caps melting. They asked for funding of course (there is already funding for solar flares you know). The government told everyone "the icecaps are melting". Later it was found out that ice is gaining on one side of the north pole quicker than being lost on the other side.
but the tricky bastards - you can't trust them. if one part of it weakens you can't say they didn't use a moving average with the whole - which we already knew moved (a point in the path of it weakens as that approaches, simple math)
They MIGHT have shows an area of magentic field is moving - but US research already proved that geologically decades ago in a famous geologic mineral discovery.

I use a plastic globe duct taped to my dashboard as my GPS. Never lose signal. Fail over to voice commands when I pull over and ask for directions.
At night I navigate by the moon and stars my parents painted on my bedroom ceiling and use glow in the dark batman stickers on my floor so I don't pee in the vent in the middle of the night anymore.

I'm not sure why sites like Savage Nation are running this stuff, maybe they're just sick of running virus stories, but there's nothing there. The South Atlantic Anomaly has been around for a long time, and it varies. The current variations are not unusual.
The OP is of course wrong about arctic sea ice. It's decreasing every year. I know, fake news, liberal conspiracy, Chinese hoax. Whatever.

I read it twice because I thought that might be what he meant, but he said "ice is gaining on one side of the north pole quicker than being lost on the other side". I suppose a strained reading could mean what you said.
And it's not right anyway. Antarctic ice has been roughly stable, not increasing, since 1980. In certain areas like the Antarctic Peninsula, it's clearly decreasing, and most climate models predicted that's where the effects of global warming on the Antarctic would first be seen.

Most satellites in LEO (low earth orbit) use automotive-grade components and are not rad-hardened. In fact there is a shortage of production capability or semiconductor foundries which can even make rad-hardened components because the demand is so low.
Failures occur when flying through the South Atlantic Anomaly and the typical strategy is just a hardware reset. If the area gets larger and the radiation more intense there will be more failures, which could be interesting for the megaconstellations of cheap satellites in LEO.
